Required materials for this course
The list below contains all the materials you will need to participate in the course.
You will already have some materials at home, some you will have to purchase.
You can obtain the materials in bold in my webshop and add them to your order via the link below.
If you cannot find certain materials, or if you have any other questions and / or comments regarding the materials list, please contact me and we will work it out together!
- Felt supplies: Lukewarm soapy water, bowl, ball shower or similar, olive soap or whatever you are used to, material to turn the work (anti-slip or net curtains) and to press the air out
- Underfloor for the mold – 40 x 50 cm
- About 100 grams of Australian merino / silk
- About 50 grams of Tyrolean mountain sheep
- Decoration materials at will (Fabric, lace, threads, fibers for felting)
- Thicker leather for sole
- Thinner leather for bumper
- Shoe mold – 1 size larger than what you need
- Possibly cling film to protect the mold
- Paper with a template or footprint drawn on it, in the size in which you want to work.
- Hole pliers
- Scissors with a pointed tip
- Slightly thicker embroidery floss/cotton to sew on the sole and brim.
- With matching needle
